Plans for 2010: “Whereas the Motorcoach Council will continue to rely on contributions from motorcoach operators, associations and suppliers, who were invaluable in the launch of the initial public awareness campaign,” stated Brian Annett, “We plan to reach beyond our core industry partners to forge long-term alliances with additional strategic partners such as a major travel industry and consumer branded products, as we build consumer awareness and shift public awareness toward motorcoach travel. Grant money and federal funding is also being pursued.”

ABC, MCI & Prevost Partner With Council To Fund Public Awareness Campaign

More than 50 motorcoach facilities today are enrolled in the Council's new Coach Vendor Parts Program. Participants elect to donate 1/2 of one percent of their net parts purchases to fund the campaign and help the Council advance its mission to educate consumers that motorcoach travel is safe, affordable, convenient and environmentally responsible.

“Buying parts is something we all do,” said Callen Hotard (President of Calco Travel and Hotard Coaches), and founding partner of the Motorcoach Council. “I encourage every operator to sign up knowing that our collective support through this program can increase awareness, mold public perception and help each other’s businesses flourish. We all benefit from the Council’s success." Click here to download a Parts Program Enrollment form.

Who We Are

The Motorcoach Council is a non-political coalition of motorcoach operators, associations, manufacturers, suppliers and travel / tourism friends pulling together for the betterment of the industry as a whole, thus creating increased public awareness and use of coach transportation.

Common Goals

Because we share common goals to get people out of their cars, and to educate the public about the usage, selection and benefits of motorcoach transportation, we therefore support our partners (manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, operators, associations) in this public interest campaign designed to reach the traveling public with our messages and increase ridership.

Join Us

To date, we have the full support of our industry's national associations: the UMA, ABA, and Motorcoach Canada, as well as 90 motorcoach operators, and numerous state associations. To partner with the Motorcoach Council, or to make a contribution to the Council’s consumer campaign, contact pr@motorcoachcouncil.org.
